Jacob’s Cry, founded in 2025, was inspired by the true story of Jacob, a three-year-old orphaned boy who died in 2005 from a treatable chest infection due to lack of antibiotics amid civil war fallout. Co-Founder Murielle Sanchez cared for Jacob, igniting a mission to provide aid, empower communities, share Jesus’ love, and fight modern day slavery.

Matthew 25:37–40 Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and come to visit you?’
