Jacob’s Cry, founded in 2025, was inspired by the true story of Jacob, a three-year-old orphaned boy in Nimule, South Sudan, who died in 2005 from a treatable chest infection due to lack of antibiotics amid civil war fallout. Founder Murielle Sanchez cared for Jacob, igniting a mission to provide aid, empower communities, share Jesus’ love, and fight slavery.
